Submit comments by September 18th
BFBC is currently consulting on a draft SPD entitled "Character Area Assessments SPD Consultation Draft (July 2009)". The SPD identifies areas within the Borough with distinctive and positive character, and provides an assessment and recommendations relating to maintaining and enhancing character within these areas, one of which is "Broad Lane North". The document is important because it may be material in determining future planning applications in or near to that area.
The document is published on the BFBC website but for quicker reference an HTML copy of the relevant section is published herein. Bob Pennell has submitted the attached comments and urges other residents to endorse or refute these or make their own comments direct to the planning office email.
