Azores High currently extending northeast is expected to focusing over the Western Alpine Range by Wednesday, but failing to cut off the unsettled maritime polar air flow which is established high up from the Scandinavian to the Mediterranean. • Therefore, a new disturbance system will be crossing over on Monday, coming in from the northwest then the northeast, and causing a moderate snowy spell, mostly in the morning and early in the afternoon. • The Atlantic High’s influences will actually get decisive only on Tuesday and Wednesday. • Further outlook will be mostly shaped by the persistence of the boreal inflow along the eastern flanc of the high pressure area : cloud passings or snow spells, depending on it’s longitude location.
