We recommend you take your car to Combloux, or fly-drive.
The village keeps its beauty and charm because it is spread out with no huge central complex. There is excellent road access and plenty of free parking.
Without a car you'd have less access to shopping, dining, and the huge choice of walking, skiing and other things to visit, summer or winter.
Driving from home takes the hassle out of luggage, shopping, and duty free and can win you extra holiday time. Fly-drive can save a lot on off-peak travel. See maps on our Combloux site.
Avoid peak times. Unlike most owners and agents, we have a 24hr/7day key facility.
You can save a bundle by flying on weekdays even if you pay us for 14 days Saturday-Saturday.
By making your own bookings, you can avoid the crowded resorts favoured by tour companies and enjoy the added freedom of a private apartment.

There is a scheduled coach from Geneva airport direct to Combloux if you are joining friends who are already there, or you are content to stay near the village centre and use the local ski bus to la Cry (BUT: car hire costs less than return fares for four people).
...beware the train. There is a fast rail connection from Paris to nearby Sallanches and short taxi link to Combloux, but it can be costly. From Geneva airport you may have two changes of trains.
