Combloux is a charming Savoie village at the very heart of a beautiful area with breathtaking scenery topped by views of nearby Mont Blanc. The ambiance is relaxed with many traditional farming communes, market towns and small family run restaurants throughout the mountains. We believe this is the most scenic and varied walking in Europe and there are a fantastic choice of other activities and excursions to enjoy - to say nothing of the cuisine!

You do need a car to fully enjoy Combloux - and that's why it has kept its character! The surroundings are beautiful and there is no large central complex and no tour operators. The range and variety of skiing is unbeatable - we can drive to another village, park for free, and be skiing faster than you can get up the cable car in some resorts.

The area is wonderful in summer with hundreds of marked walks, lots of places to visit, and a host of activities as varied as golf, sailing, mountain climbing and flying. In winter the skiing is fantastic, whether you stay on the 100 kms of local pistes, explore the 460 kms shared with Megève and les Contamines, or sample several famous resorts that are within an hour by car.
