Our four French Alps holiday apartments in Combloux near Megève are to let year round. Friends and families can holiday together but have their own retreat. Combloux is a charming Savoie village at the very heart of a beautiful area with breathtaking scenery topped by views of nearby Mont Blanc. There are hundreds of marked walks, lots of places to visit, and a host of summer activities as varied as golf, sailing, mountain climbing and flying. In winter the skiing is fantastic, whether you stay on the 100 kms of local pistes, explore the 460 kms shared with Megève and les Contamines, or sample several famous resorts within an hour by car.
The apartments have good storage space, heating, and hot water and are well equipped for UK visitors. We have 7x24 key access, and check cleanliness and make up beds between lets. The location near alpine meadows, pine woods and ski pistes is quiet, safe for children, and perfect for walking and skiing. Parking is plentiful and free at the apartments and around the area.
Self-catering is a pleasure here because the supermarkets, butcher and bakers offer so much delicious food to take home: cheeses, charcuterie, freshly roasted chicken, ready prepared dishes.

The ambiance is relaxed with many traditional farming communes, market towns and small family run restaurants throughout the mountains. We believe this is the most scenic and varied walking in Europe and there are a fantastic choice of other activities and excursions to enjoy - to say nothing of the cuisine!
You do need a car to fully enjoy Combloux - and that's why it has kept its character! The surroundings are beautiful and there is no large central complex and no tour operators. The range and variety of skiing is unbeatable - we can drive to another village, park for free, and be skiing faster than you can get up the cable car in many resorts.
